Munni's LIA - Episode 11

Reddy is Having What She is Having

Tuesday morning of the next week, Reddy went to terminus of the bus that he and Shanti ride in the mornings. He was carrying a zippered travel bag that had all the items he had brought along. He looked like he is traveling somewhere. It was the big bus station at Kasturi Nagar. They met at this bus station and went into the waiting area that had many shops. Found a corner area bench-seat that was empty. He sat down next to her and opened the top zipper of his bag and showed her what he had in the bag. She smiled and blushed at some of the items. Then she noticed a faux-velvet jewelry box. He took it out of the bag and gave it to her. She pressed the button and the lid opened to show gold hemisphere pendants in a string of black beads. The necklace had a screw threaded clasp. She closed it shut and looked at Reddy. He explained,"..costume jewelry, not even 1 gram gold….. just in case", and smiled. " yes..as good as the other precaution", she smiled back.

She put the box into his bag, pressed the button open it within the bag, took the necklace out holding it hidden within her palm, and slipped it into the collar of her turtleneck knitwear. Asked him to stand in front and rested her forehead on his leg, while he found the ends of the necklace and tightened the screw clasp at her nape. When he was done, she looked up at him and said," thanks…that felt very nice". He smiled back.

Then they took an auto to the hotel. At the reception, she held the travel bag while he completed the desk registration and got the key. He also asked the desk clerk about restaurants nearby and got some advice. Then he and Shanti walked to the end of the hallway to where the stairs were. Reddy had reserved an AC room in the back and away from road noise. It was on the 2nd floor. When they got in the room, Reddy switched the light on, put his bag down, locked the door and slipped the door chain ball into its channel. When he turned around, Shanti pressed herself against him; just like in the bus. She put both her hands up and clasped her fingers around his neck and tried to lift her face up to his. She was shivering nervously with happiness and tension. He bent forward.

Saying," hold me..hold me..please…", she jumped up and hung on to him face to face. She kissed him, her face and lips continuing to tremble. Reddy leaned back on the door, and wrapped his hands around her to hold her in place.

Shanti kissed his lips, his nose, his eyes and buried her face on his cheek. He held her tight. His mouth opened in a mixture of passion and surprise. Shanti found his tongue with the tip of hers. Her tongue tip shivered; she moved it as if she was writing praemistunnanu (I love you) on his tongue. When she seemed to be sliding down, Reddy placed each of his hands on the cheeks of her seat and lifted her up. Shanti giggled into his mouth; she was happy that finally he was able to hold her, and also knew what to do. When she leaned back off his face to get a breath, he kissed her gently on her forehead, cheeks and eyes. She said,"thank you" and received her private password:"you're welcome"

She then confessed:"…sometimes, when we were attached to each other in a bus, I wished you would put your arms around me, lift me up to your face so that I can kiss you". He said,"I know you were scheming something…too". She asked,"how would you know?". "At the end of each mischievous thought, you'd giggle quietly and send me a vibration up through my ribs". She was surprised at this and very happy that he had felt her messages and kept count.

To her,"you can put me down now", he asked,"why?". She put her mouth to his ear and whispered,"there is no holding bar above our head here….. they are on the bed". He looked behind her, and saw that the metal head board of the wide bed had bars, just like the bus, except in a vertical orientation. He bent forward slowly while she continued to kiss him. She was back standing on the carpet of the room, his head bent over her. They looked like Gustav Klimpt's painting: The Kiss.

When he released her, they both set about preparing for their day together. Shanti took the toiletries from his bag and took them to the bathroom. He made sure the curtains are closed, loosened the sheets in the bed. He moved his zippered bag to the floor next to the bed. He put the AC on the highest cool where the noise was the least; then he turned the ceiling fan to a low setting to set air circulation. He placed a water bottle on the bedside table, and switched the table lamp on. He opened one of the packets of "stork repellants" and put one of them in his pant pocket and the rest in the drawer of the bedside table. He then switched off the room light.

Shanti came back from the bathroom dressed in a towel around her armpits and she slipped into the bed and said,"…thanks for switching off the light; I didn't want you to see all of me now….". He leaned and kissed her. She had just brushed her teeth. He said, "I will brush mine and come right back". A few minutes later, he came to bed fully undressed and slipped into the sheets beside her. She slipped one of her hands under his neck and pulled herself to him immediately. She kissed him and moved herself on top and hugged him around his neck; now they looked as if they are in a crush within a bus, there were even bars above their head for a handhold. He hugged her and rolled her under him and came up on top. She held his cheeks, raised his face and asked," you have it on already?". He shyly nodded "yes, I took one to the bathroom". "So sweet" she said and pushed his face aside. Then she held the metal bars behind her head with her hands and arched her back in the pleasure of the direct touch and feel of his ribs.

Reddy was eager and prepared. He felt like he was on a fast-break. He gets the ball, none between him and the offensive board, two taps on the floor as he drives in long strides to go up in the air, heart pounding, adrenalin rushing, ready for a big cheer and applause from his bench..and then….slam…. he hits the rim with the ball.

If there'd been a fly on that room wall it would have heard:

"….aauuuCHe..awwwhhhhhh"
" ….sorry…sorry.."
be careful….we are not going anywhere…giggle ..giggle..oh.. that is better ..thank you …giggle .be gentle. you are there…there there.."
"ok..ok..you're welcome"
ouchhhh ….oucchhh…you have your elbow on my hair..and it is pulling…"
"oh..wait...wait..let me do this...": as he gathered her hair and set it away from his elbows between two vertical bars of the headboard. Then planted his elbows on both sides of her face," better now ?"
….here… put your this hand here…mmmmh that is better.. yes...may be a little to the right ...ummmh"
"…uuuuuhh…hit my head on this metal post thing…"
"Aiyo..paavam…where....where...let me rub"
"my feet is slipping off the other end…bed is not tall enough "
"yes…who asked you grow that tall……. can't even talk to you without a neck sprain"
…let us move to diagonal…"
"…giggle ...giggle....what is that ?…engineer pillow talk ?…. giggle…"
etc..etc..

however, eventually they got the hang of it; and besides they had the whole day to work it all out.  One of the very few occasions where two novices get OJT and no supervision, but a proverbial fly on the wall.

After a few tries, they were able to find a comfort zone, and as the day wore on, they explored and found afew more zones. They reminisced about how they had been drawn together. She had her legs around him and whenever his blood sent a relocation message to her brain, she gently pushed his tail-bone with her heel. He laughed as it reminded him of his college basketball days, when after playing hard for 10 minutes, he'd be benched for a 30 second break, and then the coach will say "…ok..you are up" and slap him on his behind as he got up to play. This story made Shanti say "Aiyo praam"( you poor dear) and yet she kicked him with her heel now and then. And he got up and played.

When both were completely spent, and he wanted to remove himself, she held him in her legs and locked ankles: "DON'T DO THAT!", she cried out. They rested, talked, and made love. She went on top of him, rested her elbows on his chest and looked at him in the semi dark as her eyes acquired a benign peace. He had noticed a few of her body's larger white patches of skin during the morning.

He asked:"aren't you hungry?"
She said," yes… but today I am on vratham(penance)…I can have only one thing all day" and hugged him around his neck. Then she rested her palms on both sides of his head, arms stretched full, back arched, pelvis joined, legs around him, her feet tucked under him, she closed her eyes and tried to rock herself. The metal hemisphere pendants of her necklace hit his nose. He flailed one of his hands in front of his face. She stopped and asked "what is it, dear, what is the matter?". He laughed and said, "this is tickling my nose…". He didn't quite understand Shanti's response.

For some reason, it continued to tickle his nose. He flailed both his hands and called out,"Shanti …Shanti..stop that".

Then he saw himself lying on a bed, and a fully dressed woman standing by the bedside. No one was on top of him. Sheila had a hand towel in her hand. She said," …cousin..wake up…it is almost 10 now.." Reddy blinked utterly confused; but his hands are not flailing anymore. It took him another few seconds to realize where he was. He slid back and leaned against the back rest of the sofa(-bed). Sheila continued,"…get up now…and shower….Nikki is still sleeping. I am going to step out and get a paper…ok ?", and then as she was getting into her shoes in the hallway, she added,"I made some coffee; I left some for you on the counter". Reddy nodded.

The sun was coming through the semi-opaque curtains of the room.
Shanti too had left him something. The sun cast a shadow on the west face of his morning tent.
